The Invisible Display: E-Paper Calendar and Smart Screen

A beautiful e-paper display for your calendar, your photos and your own content.

With its paper-like display, it never distracts you, but is there when you need it. And the hand-finished wooden frame makes it pass for a piece of furniture. Intentionally wired, with no battery: you set it up once, and it keeps working for years and decades.

For the calendar, you can configure your layout and sync events from Google Calendar, Outlook and any other calendar that offers ICS links: iCloud, Fastmail, Hey and many others.

Apps

Besides the calendar, there is a growing list of apps for showing photos, signage, PV forecasts, and more. We continue creating new apps. And if there is something that you think is missing, email us at info@invisible-computers.com - we might just go ahead and build it...

Drive it yourself

You can even point the display at a server on your own network and create your own content. This is for people who would rather build their own screen – a dashboard, a chart, anything you can render to an 800×480 image. When you do that, no user account or cloud access is needed.

Or use the community-maintained Home Assistant plugin to show dashboards.

Set and forget

You set up the display with our mobile app. There, you can choose what you want it to display and set up any necessary integrations and configurations. From then on, the display will update when things change – day after day, week after week.

A calendar for your home...

Unlike a paper-based family planner, the calendar on your display is always up-to-date with what's in everyone's phones. Even the kids can glance at it, see what's on this weekend – and know when to schedule that sleepover.

...or for your desk

Feel free to ignore your emails for a little longer. If a meeting pops up, you will see it on the calendar. And on Monday morning, it gives you a feel for the week: Which days are busy? When will there be time to dive deep? Maybe let's block some time on Wednesday?

Picture Frame

Your photos look elegant on this black-and-white e-paper screen. It's an acquired taste for sure – you will love how it blends in with the furniture, not shining a light at you. Maybe gift it to a loved one? With the mobile app, you can add or remove photos at any time.
